LUNESSA™ MATTRESS LIMITED WARRANTY

 

This Limited Warranty is provided by Lunessa™ for its Mattresses (the “Product”). It extends only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred.

1. Coverage & Duration

  • Scope: Covers defects in materials and workmanship for five (5) years from the date the mattress is delivered.

  • Eligibility: Valid only for brand-new mattresses purchased through Lunessa™’s authorized retailers.

  • Defects Covered:

    • Permanent indentations or sags exceeding 2.5 cm

    • Cracks or voids in the foam (reported within the first six months)

    • Failure of the mattress to fully expand to its intended dimensions

    • Manufacturing flaws in the cover

  • Replacement Policy: Any replacement mattress provided under this warranty carries over the original warranty term; it does not reset the five-year period.

2. Warranty Requirements

To make a claim under this warranty, you must:

  • Be the original purchaser and show the original sales receipt from an authorized Lunessa™ dealer.

  • Confirm that the mattress is a genuine Lunessa™ product.

  • Provide a detailed description and clear photographs of the defect.

  • Use the mattress on a stable, solid-surface foundation or adjustable base rated to support both mattress and user weight. Use of box springs or unsuitable frames voids the warranty.

  • Refrain from modifying or repairing the mattress yourself or through unauthorized parties; doing so will void coverage.

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear, comfort preferences, or minor softening of the foam during break-in.

  • Damage from misuse, accidents, mold, mildew, spills, stains, or failure to unpack the mattress within six weeks of delivery.

  • Cosmetic changes that do not impair the mattress’s pressure-relief properties.

  • Allergies or sensitivities to foam odors or naturally occurring off-gassing scents.

  • Any defect if you cannot provide sufficient proof or documentation of the issue.

  • Use in commercial settings (hotels, rental properties, etc.) or outside ordinary domestic use.

Softness Tolerances:

  • 0–6 months: up to 25 mm

  • 6–12 months: up to 30 mm

  • 12–24 months: up to 35 mm

  • 24–36 months: up to 40 mm

  • 36–60 months: up to 45 mm

4. Filing a Claim

Submit your claim within 30 days of discovering the defect. Claims received after this period may not be honored.

5. Liability Limit

Lunessa™’s liability is limited to repair or replacement of the mattress. Lunessa™ and its suppliers are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the product.

6. Additional Terms

  • Warranty applies only to normal residential use.

  • Use in commercial or institutional settings voids coverage.

  • This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
